Rustic Jacobean Oak Sideboard with Barley Twist Legs

This striking sideboard has been fully stripped of its original finish revealing the beautiful grain, then the body of the cabinet has been lime waxed to enhance. Layers of hard wax oil have been used on the top over the lime wax to protect. The barley twist legs and cross bar have had hard wax oil applied to accentuate the stunning deep oak tones.

The interior has been painted in our own mix of cream paints by Dixie Belle and has been clear waxed to protect. The original drop handles have been thoroughly cleaned, and now adorn the sideboard gracefully once more.

This unique, rustic yet elegant sideboard with its beautiful simple geometric carvings and barley twist legs will add beauty and spacious storage to your living space.

N.B. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm, but the piece has been fully treated. Please see photo showing a split in the right hand side panel - this does not effect stability or detract from the beauty of this dresser.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
