Eight Drawer Chest of Drawers in Taupe Cream and Oak

This beautiful chest of drawers with its attractive carved detail across the top, has been fully stripped and hand painted in “Cathedral Taupe”, by Fusion. Described as “a sophisticated taupe inspired by the architectural beauty of its namesake.  This goes-with-anything shade delights with a soft pink undertone.”

The carefully renovated oak fronted drawers have been given a light wash with the same colour, which highlights yet softens the beautiful grain.  The eight deep drawers have solid wood bases, whilst the original handles have been thoroughly cleaned and then wax gilted in gold to add that extra charm.

The whole piece has been treated to a hemp base salve with a delicate citrus scent, which restores and revives the wood.

This lovely vintage piece, simply styled with clean lines and soft shaping at the base and corner edges, will appeal to anyone preferring a more contemporary look to their furniture. It of course would be a fabulous addition to a bedroom, but would also add valuable storage to either a hallway or living room.

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
