Carved Edwardian Mahogany Armchair

This beautifully shaped and comfortable carved armchair dates back to the early 1900’s. Raised on turned forelegs and swept rear legs with castors, it boasts extra width for comfort and a carved crest rail with lovely floral detailing. Its padded arms and buttoned back set off the urn shaped spindles perfectly.

The chair has been sympathetically restored and repaired, then thoroughly cleaned, the wood having been stripped of its original varnish and stained. The green leather with its lovely patina has been treated with a leather balm, leaving it soft and supple for many more years to come.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
