Black and Burr Walnut Large Chest of Drawers

A strikingly unusual large chest with turned pillars, featuring eight drawers and offering plenty of storage. Hand painted in “Caviar” black paint by Dixie Belle and varnished in matt wax finish Polyvine. The burr walnut has been cleaned and treated with dark furniture wax to bring out its rich depth of colour and charm. The combination of black and natural wood highlights the beauty of this piece in its entirety. The chest has the quirky feature of a “hidden” drawer at the top. All drawers have solid wood bases and dovetail joints.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
