Vintage Writing Desk in Black and Gold

This charming desk with cabriole legs and claw and ball feet has many noteworthy features, including beautiful carved detail to the edges and legs.  It has been hand painted in “Caviar” black mineral chalk paint by Dixie Belle and varnished in matt wax effect varnish by Polyvine.

Offering an amazing 15 drawers - 8 small, 2 full and 5 hidden - all with hand cut dovetail joints and solid wood bases, there is plenty of space for stationery and paperwork.

Smart new handles replace the originals, their colour complementing the back panel which has been hand painted in gold.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
